My Greatest Fear
The assignment was to create a video and user interface that conveys what my greatest fear would be. Filming was at night, so no natural daylight would contribute to lighting.
Top Ten Tool Tips
The purpose of the animation is to demonstrate knowledge on a certain topic, in this case: Tools, and some tips on how to be one effectively. After selecting each beer pong cup, one can read the tip on being a proper tool. The picture of the tool displays a prime example of one, although he was altered slightly in Photoshop. I digitally shaved his chest and made him a more orange color. I also added the nautical tattoo.
How I Learned Guitar
The purpose of the animation was to convey a period of personal growth. The animation demonstrates the progression from avid fan of music to practicing the guitar to produce music of my own.
Survivor: Flash Video
The assignment was to animate the first few sentences of a book, so I chose Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk. The novel is told in flashback while the narrator tells his story as the airplane he is on is in the middle of crashing. To create a sense of chaos, there are flashing images and moving text to make one uneasy.
